Opening
- @chima opened the meeting and passed Meeting Leader

- @Robert_H hasn’t felt well lately
Reports of Officers and Committees
- Secretary:
- Treasurer: have talked to Uncle Bank, harpreet setting up dues member stack
Membership: had a meeting for the educational committee, will continue to work on that
other reports
- @anon26178869 talked about the Cultural Corn Day, people could join as actors
Unfinished Business
- rescheduled board game night two weeks later, conflicted with cultural corn day
- Need to reschedule Delta college, discussed what to put on the table cover.
New Business
Tenant Union campaign
- We should create Google docs todo list for the group goals. Decided to try tasks, will fall back to a document if we have to.
- Discussed handbook, using it as a secondary in, but the real work happens face to face
EWOC
- @chima has spoke with them. They were going around San Joaquin valley
- joint between electrical works and DSA
- 5 person committee
- would put people interested in unionizing through classes
- @Turcotte moved and was seconded that we meet with and find out more about it
4th Internationale Nov 3-5
- It’s been offered they would cover 2 tickets for transport.
Social Events
- Hot labor day bbq 2023-09-04, north valley DSA in turlock
- Fix it healthcare at the tipping point 1-3pm, 2023-09-09, movie night
