Opening
- @chima opened the meeting and asked for introductions and described the hybrid setup before passing to @Robert_H as Meeting Leader
- @Robert_H asked for approval of the Order of Business
it was moved by @HipGnosis and seconded that we adopt the Order of Business, Motion Carried - optional opening ceremonies were omitted for time

- minutes of the 2023-06-08 general meeting were approved as posted
- minutes of the 2023-06-26 general meeting were approved as posted
Reports of Officers
- Secretary: no correspondences to report
- Treasurer: Articles of Incorporation were filed for becoming a tax exempt nonprofit organization
New Business
Bylaws changes
- @chima presented the proposed changes to the bylaws:
adding a conflict of interest policy
the timing of nominations
the titles legally required for the Steering Committee - @chima moved and was seconded that we adopt the submitted bylaws changes

Tenant Union focus Campaign
- @chima presented extensively on the campaign
- Moved by @chima and seconded that we make Tenant Union organizing the first WCU focus Campaign

- @chima briefly discussed:
- the Dates of the park cleanup
- attending Farmers markets to solicit support for the UPS workers
- The use of Voices of the Working Class
- attending the lodi city council vote on the skate park
