After-Hours Topic
Decided to name the event “Your Content Creator Daddy Won’t Save You”.
Flock Camera Removal Campaign
Agreed that the working meetings this month will focus on developing messaging through research. The messaging would lay the groundwork for:
- Petition to city council
- Content for social media
Discussion Details
- @Adri_Martinez: WCU must lay more ground work before getting more people involved in WCU’s flock camera removal campaign.
- @chima: WCU must be transparent about its campaign progress with petition signers
- @turcotte: WCU should try to do reels showing where the cameras have been installed throughout Stockton
- @Jacob: If WCU decides to create reels, it must do so consistently for them to gain traction
- @ckposadas: It would take substantial planning for WCU to post as consistently as @Jacob is suggesting
Stockton Earth Day
@chima filled out application form with meeting attendees to get approval for WCU tabling at Stockton Earth Day. Afterwards, general membership decided 2 working meetings were necessary to plan the even and create materials for it.
New Member Open House
@Adri_Martinez scheduled a meeting on 04/08 with @chima to sort out details of the New Member Open House.
Scheduling Working Meetings
Moving forward, WCU has developed more concrete rules schedule working meeting for each month:
- DO NOT schedule any working meetings the week after each month’s General Meeting
- Solidify weeks each meeting should take place (during the General Meeting)
- Create 1 Rallly link for each event (not each week)
These rules are subject to change depending on effectiveness.
