Planning meetings & events
While setting the agenda for May’s General Meeting, WCU’s steering committee discussed how the org plans for events and working meetings. Here are the major takeaways:
- Large events need to planned at least a month ahead of time
- Set working meetings during General Meetings (via vote) instead of Rallly polls
- Steering committee meetings will be set to Tuesdays of the month instead of Thursdays
- The first steering committee meeting will become a working meeting
Setting agenda
Lodi Pride Event
The plan is to table at the Lodi Pride event to promote WCU membership.
Date: June 6th
@chima discussed not holding a working meeting for the event since WCU has the tabling materials and training from the Earth Day event.
Working meetings

- 2 meetings for Fight Off Flock (do outreach based on research)
