ISSUE: The Restrict Content Pro plugin we were using for people to pay dues does not look great.
FIX: Almost all online retail now uses stripe or a similar processor. Since we already use Stripe on the backend, we are just going to shift away from the plugin and use Stripe directly.
- Updated DNS records on Cloudfare with Stripe’s provided records. Once they confirm the records, billing links should direct to pay.workingclassunity.com…
- Updated the branding on the stripe payment page to match WCU.
- Created a “Dues Waiver” coupon that will reduce the $10/month Membership fee to $1. This was voted on and approved (insert GM date here). We will have to create a dues waiver form that will send people the code, but the code exists and can just be sent to anyone that needs it.
- Your dues can now be managed from this link.
- You can sign up for Membership Dues and for Solidarity Dues at those links.
- There is also a Donation link here where you can edit how much you want to donate one time.

EDIT: Wanted to add that you also now have alternative pay options. It is all the same on our end (money into stripe account) and they handle whether it is amazon/bank/cc/cash app or link.
