Public Facing Materials Temporary Working Group
- Need to set next meeting date at the end of the meeting
Dues Only vs Taking Donations
- Raising funds from only member dues vs. donations from outside members
- Discussed concerns including being beholden to donors or if organization prioritizes fundraising
- Moved by @chima that the we explore accepting donations in addition to dues; @Bozzii seconded; motion carried (C)
Bylaw Review
Article VI. Steering Committee | Section 6: Treasurer
- Amendment to clarify that all fundraising efforts must be acknowledged and approved by the Treasurer.
- Moved by @chima to accept the amendment ; seconded by @anon26178869; motion carried (D)
- Bylaw modification instructing treasurer to record bank statements, invoices, and receipts. Also allow the “President” to sign instruments in addition to the Treasurer.

New Business
No Votes for Genocide / Free Palestine Focus Campaign
- @chima and @Bozzii presented on the “No Votes for Genocide” proposal.
- Pressure Josh Harder to support a ceasefire resolution and stop active support of the genocide
- Ask people to sign the pledge
- Phone bank wealthy donors
- SLC Labor for a Ceasefire
- Form connections between community groups
- Membership had a good discussion on how the proposal could play out and how would we like to approach the campaign.
