If people are more interested in reading a shorter piece, I’d suggest focusing on articles that describe/address a certain issue related to the central question of “Why Liberals Lose?” - Why Democrats suck, why putting all our faith for political change in unions won’t work, why simply “voting smarter” doesn’t work, etc. Given that Hedges describes the “liberal class” as five - six specific groups (Dems, unions, churches, media, universities, the arts), it might be easier (?) to find articles espousing the weaknesses of certain liberal institutions than finding a more broad article about “why liberals suck” that isn’t immediately reactionary and detrimental to the points we are trying to make as an org.
