Recovering the Struggles of Immigrants
Public Forum
11:00 AM | Stockton, California | July 12, 2026
Immigrant communities have led important struggles for rights and dignity. In the face of deportations, detention centers, and attacks against our communities, we want to recover these experiences and discuss the challenges we face today.
- The history of immigrant struggles from “A Day Without Immigrants” in 2006 to the present.
- The organizing of detained immigrants in detention centers and solidarity campaigns.
- The current state of immigration laws and immigrants’ rights.
- The challenges facing working-class communities in Stockton.
- The organizing of immigrant students in schools.
