Tenant Union Campaign: March-April Plans
At the General Meeting renewed our tenant union focus campaign with a more aggressive approach. Below is an outline to that plan.
Phase One: March 6th - April 3rd
Action Items: Complete Tenant Union Handbook 1.0
We need a finished version of the handbook to share via QR code on flyers and at town halls. This would build credibility and (hopefully) encourages attendance. We have a basic version already, but sections with unresolved questions were removed.

Action Items: Tenant Union Posters and Flyers
We need literature that explains tenant unions and invites people to our workshops. This material will be distributed in flyer form during canvassing. You can read a brief outline below or read/comment on the Google Docs directly here.
Action Items: Create canvassing segments
We now have a list of all multi-unit buildings in Stockton/Lodi. Next steps:
- Identify properties owned by target local landlords
- Cluster buildings by proximity for efficient canvassing
- Focus on buildings with fewer than 20 units

Phase Two (April 4 - May 15)
Action Items: Develop Tenant Union Workshop (Due End of April)
A core element of the new TU campaign depends on holding effective workshops that identify potential tenant association leaders. We need a reusable workshop agenda.

Union of Unions
At the last General Meeting, we agreed to begin Union of Unions outreach.
We’ve created a union contact list here.
We still need to gather contact information and identify any public campaigns (contract negotiations or policy initiatives) they’re working on that could help us make our outreach more relevant and effective.
